The close calls
The comparisons people get stuck on
Connect or Connect+
Both give you the same advisor and the same weekly hour. Connect+ attaches dedicated people so what gets decided on Tuesday gets started on Wednesday.
The question: is the constraint judgment, or hands?
Leadership or Performance
Leadership develops the managers you already have. Performance puts senior operators inside the business and changes how it runs.
The question: are the people the constraint, or the machine they are working in?
Leverage or a local hire
A placement starts in seven to ten business days at an hourly rate with no long-term contract. A local hire costs more, takes longer, and is yours.
The question: is the work steady enough and defined enough to justify a salary?
Command or a CRM you buy
Command is a CRM with the configuration, migration, training and support already done. Buying your own is cheaper on the invoice.
The question: is there somebody in-house who will own it?
No fit
When the answer is none of these
Some businesses do not have a consulting problem. If the economics do not work, if the market moved and the offer did not, or if nobody wants anything to change, nothing above will help, and we would rather say so on the first call. LINX fits five to fifty people and $500,000 to $10 million in revenue.
Questions
Questions people ask while choosing
Can I start with one and move to another later?
Yes, and most owners do. Connect is the usual door. When the decisions start generating more work than you have hands for, Connect+ adds the people without restarting the relationship. A Leadership program or a Performance engagement gets scoped separately when the constraint moves.
Can I buy two at once?
Yes. Connect+ at the Growth tier already bundles the advisor, the support staff, Command, and up to five Compass assessments a year, which is usually cheaper than assembling the same thing piece by piece.
What happens if I pick wrong?
Advisory, the CRM and support staff all run month to month, so the cost of a wrong start is a month. Programs and engagements are scoped with an end date on them before they begin, so there is no open retainer to unwind.
Do I have to talk to somebody before I buy?
Not for Compass, and not for Command. Everything else is scoped against your situation, so it starts with a conversation, and that conversation is thirty minutes, free, and does not commit you to anything.
Why are some prices exact and others a floor?
The tools cost what they cost. Programs and engagements are priced against the problem rather than the hour, so the number above the floor depends on what the first look finds. You see the scope and the fee before anything starts.
Which one is the fastest to show something?
Compass, the same day. Then Command inside the first month, and Leverage inside two weeks of placement. Advisory shows something in the first session and compounds from there. Performance produces a costed problem list early and the rebuild takes longer than anybody wants it to.
Start the conversation
Tell us the constraint and we will name the service.
Thirty minutes. If two of these fit, you get a straight answer on which one to start with. If none of them fit, you get that answer instead.
